I love air shocks...Mostly because it gives a very aggresive stance. And second, its unique...I cant say i've ever seen another firebird like mine running around. My defintion of a muscle car is an old body style, loud dual exhaust(even if it isn't true duals), and a rake-stance...Oh and sum raised white letter BF Goodrich radials or some other brand with raised letters...(yellow raised are ok too)
Jake, I put air shocks on the back of my 64 1/2 Mustang last year. Yup, the stance is great! Brings up the rear a bit and looks cool. I put gas shocks on the front. I still need about a one inch lift to stop the tires from hitting the inside of the fenders on turns. I was thinking rubber shims like NASCAR uses. What do you think? Mustang Mike
ReplyDeleteWell, (i tried to post this on your site but my comp is acting up) Either that or you can do what i'm most likely gunna do and put some big block springs in there. It raises it about half an inch im guessin but it might help stiffen it up before it rubs on your fender.
